OUR PARTNERS

Flaaks works closely with local partners. The project 'from plant to poncho' is supervised by Wad van Waarde. They are campaigning for a plastic-free Wadden area. Production is in the hands of VanHullly. This is a social enterprise for talented women in a work-study program.

Wadden Sea of Value

With a solid network, anchored in that northern clay, Wad van Waarde is working on the future of this special piece of World Heritage. If it were up to Wad van Waarde, the future of the Wadden area would be (micro)plastic-free. This is done by mapping and connecting all the Wadden of value. With a network full of down-to-earth northerners, alternatives for plastic products are being developed. Serving as an example with which the source of pollution is tackled and the future of the Wadden area is secured. With this approach, concrete results are achieved and are therefore valuable for the future of our nature, manufacturing industry, agriculture, economy, education and tourism.

VANHULLY

As a social enterprise, Vanhully offers a work-study program for women who are at a distance from the labor market. Inclusive and circular. Not just any women, but talented women who are eager to take serious steps towards a better future. A future in which they are as independent and financially independent as possible and are part of our community. In the Vanhully studio, new usable products are made from old work clothes and other residual textiles. Backpacks, tablet covers, tote bags, bean bags - you name it! In the meantime, they are also working on a new life themselves and are following a training course to then follow their dreams.
